How the room block works
Last updated October 30, 2026
A room block is a set of rooms the resort holds at one rate for your guests, usually with a booking deadline. It is the spine of a destination wedding: everyone lands at the same resort on the same terms, and the couple never has to collect money.
How it is set up
- Ann confirms the legal steps with the resort's wedding coordinator and picks the week with you (the driest months on each wedding guide are the usual starting point).
- The resort holds the rooms at a group rate until a deadline. Ann gets the group terms in writing: rate, deadline, and any perks at certain room counts.
- Guests get one link or one phone number. Each guest books their own room and flights from Omaha with Ann and pays the supplier or InteleTravel directly for their own deposit and balance.
- Ann can help coordinate the list, the deadline reminders and the late adds and drop-outs that groups have.
Perks
Complimentary nights, upgrades or a private event at certain room counts are common asks, but every resort sets its own thresholds. Ann asks for them in writing before you announce the date, and the wedding calculator shows typical thresholds as planning numbers only.
What it costs you
Nothing extra. It is free to you; suppliers pay Ann. Payments go to InteleTravel or the supplier, never through this site.
